It's hardly Tom's fault.
We'd have moaned if he'd been our player with these injuries.

I lost respect for him when he posted that photo of his legs and showing the caption about Trinity fans saying he was Whinging. It was bad enough McNamara whinging, but for Tom to join in after all Trinity have done for him looked after him throughout his last few years of long term injuries, he should have just kept quiet.

Agreed, i doubt he and the other Catalan players wanted the injuries and subsequent infections. The fact it happened means it should be investigated to ensure it doesn’t happen again.

Not complaints from Hull the game before though. Don't think their players or ours have had courses of anti biotics.

Not sure we ever put any of the Hull players on the floor for it to be a problem! Apparently there were some complaints from the Halifax players after their friendly though.

It’s quite simple really. If it passes the RFL inspection it’s ok. If it doesn’t, it isn’t. Time will tell.

It's their work place. The clubs have a duty of care.
Tom did the right thing to draw attention to it.

The pitch will sort itself our sooner rather than later that’s a fact ,once it get some sun on its back , the team and the coaching systems may take a little longer , but hopeful of putting some pride and passion back into the shirt and some fight in their bellies this Friday , that for me will go a long way to say they are having a dig , and all hope is not lost .

They’re confident that remedial work will allow the game to go ahead. The fact that that work has had to be carried out kind of proves something wasn’t right with it though and will have probably cost to put right.

Him..interesting. Only seen it from the stands but it seemed OK but I suppose you don't know till you actually play on it. However thinking back with the wonderful thing of hindsight, could we have jumped in to soon to play 3 friendless on it so early in laying it down.

That and possibly training on it too for men’s, academy and women’s teams recent weeks.

Perhaps the pitch just wasn’t ready for that exposure.

Hopefully now it’s starting to get milder that will improve as the weeks go by.

Not sure it was hindsight, we were told the club knew it was a risk to use it as much so early in its life before it had bedding in properly. They also moved the training back to BV pretty quickly from Dewsbury, i presume to save the rental cost. Seems it may not have paid off. It will probably right itself eventually but will likely now take longer and cost more overall.
