ALL options are being looked at at this time. If this thing goes legal - IF - then it will be costly, lengthy and far from a guaranteed outcome. Decisions like that would not be taken lightly at all and will be the very last resort.
As a Trust, we do not always agree on everything, but we do take account of everything going and we make, together, the best judgement we can given all of the information available. You may not always agree with me, but then neither do my fellow Trustees - that's just how it is.
We are well aware of the mood out there and the reasoning for it - believe me, I share the frustration, but it will be a collective decision taken when all avenues have been explored.
If we are beaten in this (and it's not over yet), then it certainly won't be for the lack of trying!
For the record, the Trust members are:
Chair - Sir Rodney Walker
SWAG - Phil Townsend (me)
Residents for Newmarket - Jonathan Stone (Inflatable Armadillo)
Eric Timmins
David Hichliffe
Michael Carter
Chris Brereton
Also attending meetings, but not sitting (purely as to be independent) is Ian Bramley representing the Supporters Trust.
If this lot haven't got your back - who has!?
