Wow you really have a problem if you carry that sort of stuff in your head, as for it being a forum, maybe you should remember that when replying to other posters opinion with your unnecessary insults, anything else you want to get off your chest while your at it.

That's still kind of an insult Vasty.

1 : a sharp and often satirical or ironic utterance designed to cut or give pain.
2 : a mode of satirical wit depending for its effect on bitter, caustic, and often ironic language that is usually directed against an individual

Funny when it's at a friend, not always so on a forum.
I make this mistake sometimes too.

No, it's not a mistake, I mean it. Not my fault if people are thin-skinned if you give it you take it. This is an RL forum with strong opinions and a place where IMO sarcasm and Micky taking have a place, just like the terraces. Also, just like on the terraces it can get out of control, that's when you step in, that said sarcasm is rarely a public order offence.

If this were the forum for the Samaritans or Cancer Research then I'd agree with you.

I didn't mean it was a mistake to be sarcastic. I meant it is a mistake to think everyone will find it as funny and harmless as you meant it.
