The situation with new stand is a result of the client not keeping the architect and M & S on a short leash, any successful build relies on client being proactive stating the needs of the facility. For me the bars in the hospitality suite and the supporters bar below are far too small. So having to increase table service in hospitality would really impact on profit/loss but supporters bar is all about supply speed on the queuing impact. Think toilets could have been bigger and the general layout much better but hey lets all let Matt pick up the tab to get things running smooth.

Bar seemed to run fine for me.

Think the stress test on Friday was always going to pull up some anomalies in the facilities, vast majority are easy fixes and the buying of a generator should fix the lighting issues once and for all .overall very impressed with the seating , i’m 6’5 and feared the worst but no problems with getting the old knee’s in . And our friends with disabilities have a cracking view of the game now after years of being shoehorned into that shed in the far corner , and their toilets were cavernous. On a sour note , a lad who peddled to the ground had his bike nicked even with the bike being padlocked , if no one is patrolling the bike sheds during the game it’s going to be a free for all for the local low life’s , and absolutely no one is going to use them and they will just take up valuable space around the ground .

Despite the obvious issues which I am sure ME will get sorted I loved sitting in a brand new stand, something I didn't think I would experience in my lifetime.

Apparently they were on, on Monday morning.
Looks like ME didn't hang around getting them sorted.

Flood lights were on Monday morning, ultimately they need to test by drawing out the maximum power the sub can handle, how that's done without spectators may be difficult. Perhaps an open training session held at Belle Vue on an evening.

Interesting point about bike sheds, I was thinking about using my bike in the warm summer months. The sheds look great but are really exposed out there on the Donny Road side. Looks like the local scum were quick to spot an opportunity.
