Agreed

We could use Sam like leeds use burrows though.

Giving Moore more game time as he develops and use Sam's to find the gaps later on in the game.

I think signing Sam is an improvement on this year's halfbacks and can pass on experience to Moore who I don't think is ready for a full season of super league just yeat

Its not necessarily the re-signing of Obst that I find strange, its the rumoured 2 year deal. Surely a 1 year deal would be more appropriate ?

Why would you want Moore to learn his craft from someone who is sub-standard in the role?

Obst has no kicking game, no real rugby brain and certainly can't run a game from half back; Moore has the potential to do all those things so if he's to be mentored, it should be by someone who can actually do the things he's meant to be passing on.

It's like a repeat of last year. Agar signing Obst on a 2 year deal when he's only really going to be useful for one.
