I don't find that interesting - I find it really sad; that people who live in the District would rather see 2000 jobs, a load of inward investment and sporting facilities for generations to come go down the pan, just to give their own club a bit longer to prevaricate.

Yet another example of the so-called RL family proving to be a bunch of close-minded, club-centric wazzocks; I genuinely believe that no matter what the outcome of this, CT's standing and reputation amongst the RL community will have been seriously damaged.

Let's face it, this is do or die, but if it goes against us, we can't say that everyone hasn't given it all their best shot. People will have their different views on what is being said, because each side wants to see their own glimmer.

What I find interesting is the extent to which Cas fans seem to want to see it fail, and I think that shows how little confidence they have in Glasshoughton. If they had confidence in Glasshoughton, the PI would be irrelevant.

Is this based on the small number of people using these message boards or cas fans as a whole? I disagree there will be a minority who would like it to fail just as there is Wakefield fans who would love to gloat over GH failing but I dont think that would be many, this arena is a tight ship populated with a small audience some of whom are very opiniated but that does not mean they are the majority.

As stated above, not all Cas fans are the same, not all Cas fans want Wakefield to fail.
It's getting pretty tired now.

Yes we do. But who do they expect to create the wealth that pays for their Unemployment Benefits?

I actually think there's more than you think, all you have to do is look at this forum, the other one and the messages on facebook etc, I know it doesn't give you the full picture but it's definitely opened my eyes. At the end of the day they see it as, if we get NM they are more than likely out of SL next time. I think simply put they want there stadium built before ours and that involves subconsciously or not wanting the others to be delayed or fail.

Cas being in the same division has a lot of benefits to us as a club. At NM you would expect the matches to have even more in attendance as it's very close to the area. I want them to succeed eventually just not beofre us :)

I've got to second that. Most Cas fans I know are great, we have some good banter and good natured rivalry as it should be. I really do hope that Glasshoughton gets built and I'll look forward to going there and seeing some 15k attendances between us and them. However that looks like some time away and in the meantime any Cas official should KEEP THEIR NOSES OUT of our inquiry and diplomatically decline to comment, as I would sincerely hope AG or JE would if the boot were on the other foot. As for the rank and file Cas fan, most I've spoken to feel like me unlike the worms that post on their other nasty little forum and sometimes on RLFANS who are hell bent on seeing the negatives of Newmarket.
