Why bother with half decent British lads who are apparently available and proven SL standard when you can take a punt on a foreigner and fly him half way round the world....Either that or sign mediocre imports who try hard of course.

Where have the Smith and Mathers names come from? Are we just saying they are available or has someone actually linked them to us?

Either Mathers or Smith would be a definate improvement on this season past which would do for me.

As far as the calibre of player, fair enough, they would be an improvement overall, but as FB not guaranteed at all.
MB may not have been the best overall FB in SL, but neither are these two.
It may open some peoples eyes as to how good a FB, Blaymire was in his time here, and that goes both ways.
