I had a look at where the big tree had been cut down as I passed on my way to the Friday lunch, (yes I know it’s only Thursday) the tree fellers (an old Benny Hill Irish joke there) did a good job, I guess it had to come down now before the nesting season starts.

Garry Price was guest speaker, and was very entertaining, came across as a very likeable chap.

I may have missed it but have they said where those evicted from the East Stand are to be relocated.

I assume they will be in touch. It's still some 7 weeks away I think so they may still be finalising.



I'd ask for you normally but I've not bothered getting in touch with MC this season for the simple reason that I can only imagine how bogged down they are in the Stadium stuff - it must be hugely disruptive.



Give it a few more weeks would be my suggestion.

Got told when I bought my stand S T that a temporary stand will be built on the West side I do not know if that still stands

I guess the headline is that the timetable for commencing demolition of the East Stand is July 4, which is the day after we play Wigan at home. suggest to me that everything is officially not in place. Soaring construction costs, may have caused a rethink on previous plans, but with only seven weeks before demolition starts, I feel the club is missing a trick by not building up the anticipation, hopefully we’ll start seeing some positive publicity soon, along with detailed drawings of the new stand, and temporary accommodation for the East Standers

To be fair we don't seem to do hype, and with so many false downs the most positive thing that will affect supporters stadiumwise is seeing steel coming out of the ground
