Let me get this straight then - the whole story in League Weekly is based on the fact that a player going out of contract might leave to go to another club when he is a free agent? And people pay money for this?

hypothetically where do you think the club stand on this then VM? whereas there was criticism when we let jeffries go (groundless imo) for nothing we knew we were signing brough so it suited us to get him off the cap.
this case may be slightly different in that we may not want him to leave and have no replacement as good as him or at least as proven as him lined up.
would we expect a fee IF he went?

Yes we should get a fee.

We can then use this money to improve the ground.

My suggestions would be to employ an extra person to work Cats bar on match days and buy a seasons worth of light bulbs for the toilet.

No idea how these things work, pretty sure Trinity will get a deal that suits us we usually do.
