After today's performance, just re-signing Batch would do for starters

For sure.
He's probably had his best 3 games for Trin over the last 3 fixtures and playing out of position, exceptional

Top six 2005 - Trinity.

I would hope that finally puts the Tanginoa to prop to bed once and for all except in an emergency.

For the second week running he was in SR and running destructively out wide. I’m very glad the coaches have finally come round to what the majority of fans have been calling for.

Running at the halfbacks and backs Tanginoa is just a destructive beast and that was a peach of a pass to set batch free.

Pitts seems to be pretty good in the middle at 13 too.

Murphy made a cracker of a tackle. Hall is making some exceptional runs and yardage. Hard to believe that edge is 20 years old and are on their debut season.

As a few have said Whitbread has a big engine and never shirks any of the tough stuff.

Fifita has convinced me he’s got another year in the tank too.

Good performance where we touched it out today. A real team performance. Keep up the good work.

The sunny South (of Wakefield)

Pity that there's no game next week. I hope we don't lose the hiatus that we seemed to have gained. Five tries today, but I just wish we could gain more confidence and nous in the opponents ten metres area.

Unofficially the most boring poster on Cherry and White.

Tbh I wasn’t that bothered about Batch either way as his style of S/R are fairly common. However his sudden mastery of centre play puts a whole new spin on it. For me he’s now a more valuable player than he was three weeks ago.

I hear whispers Batch has become a bit disillusioned with Trinity especially seeing the environment his bother is in and how his career has blossomed.

I hope I’m wrong as the last few weeks he seems to have rediscovered his mojo and we can keep him but I think it would be very tough to retain him if others as they appear to have done came in for him.

The line he ran for his try was sublime. He actually side stepped the defender before he caught the ball not seen many players do that since the days of Steve Renouf.

A great performance but we make it hard work having to come from behind. We need a little composure and a bit of craft in the last 20 some of the attacks today left a lot to be desired but take nothing away the chase by Murphy was a game changer and gave us the lift we needed. Some top performers today.

The confidence and passion the team are playing with is plain for everyone to see , and can now hopefully kick on and get amongst the teams above and cause some headaches for them .Thought today we kept inviting the wires back into the game with errors and penalties, which without that foothold it would have been a much more comprehensive victory ,but credit wakefield we dug in and and never let our heads go down and after that astonishing game saving tackle by Murphy the wires heads went down and it was ours to lose .

He can become a big fish in a little pond with us just like Johnstone and build our team around them , but if they decide that they want pastures green then so be it , we simple can’t compete with the big boys in monies or facility’s ,but imo no one is bigger than the club and we thank them for their efforts and move on without them , if that is their choice .
