I can't work out whether you're influenced by tabloid journalists who use selective quotes to fit their agenda and attract attention, or are brainwashed by the marketeers of our consumerist society into believing want=need. Why do you NEED to know NOW?
It's clear from the above post, taken in context, that there are many of us who WANT to know where we're playing next year ASAP, but why would anyone NEED to know?
My inference from the post is that if a decision had to be made today then we'd be going to Dewsbury, but there is still time before the season tickets go on sale to continue negotiations to allow us to stay at BV. It might work, it might not, but that would still be the preferred option and we should continue pursuing that option as long as is reasonably possible, i.e. until season tickets go on sale. Which seems to be a sensible and balanced approach.
Exactly if we had to make a decision today it would be Dewsbury but if we hold on we might get a chance with Belle Vue that's how I see it anyway. You never know we might get a new Starbucks, subway etc with a new stadium as part of the Belle Vue regeneration scheme the council must be insisting on. Up the Trin

As long as we ARE playing in SL next season I'm ok where it's at. I'm sure we would all much prefer to be at BV than Dewsbury or Featherstone but I can't even start to know the logistics of what is going on behind the scenes, nor do I want to try.

Best case scenario - MC pulls a rabbit out of the hat and we get a revamped BV; that being the case, I would expect a season at Dewsbury while the works are completed, then a return to our spiritual home with nice bogs and a proper roof.
Meanwhile, I can completely sympathise - nobody *needs* to know right now; they might want to, and I'm sure MC is one of those, but as long as people are working hard in the background to get a positive outcome, I'm happy to endure a period of uncertainty.

Is they anyway we could get any Lottery Funding towards a community stadium or has that ship sailed Because the best place would have been up near Jct40 where Roundwood Ranger & Manor Rugby teams played & look at all the business now up there ,This Council has something to answer for with the way we have been treated , I for one am not bothered about going to Dewsbury end of the day it's what 200 yards outside wakefield Belle vue has had it day and we do need to move on somewhere But for all the great work MC as done we do need a Roman Abramovich guy to spend some loose change on us.

What ever did happen to the Jct 40 project? I remember the week after beating Fev some NIMBY miser was on the front page of the WE saying promotion was a total disaster for the local residents as the stadium was more likely to happen now. Look what they got instead a load of industrial units with 24 hour HGVs trundling around the roads. I can't thing of a better case of be careful what you wish for.

That would be best case scenario with new stadium along with the fast food outlets J39 style all on the same development. With the developer saying they want a quick turnaround could work in our favour. Up the Trin
