Pretty clear who the trust is, not as if TRB hasn't posted a list of it's membership about 7689594 times. I'm not sure what people expect to be honest, they're clearly engaging in some pretty delicate negotiations. Just because you support the team doesn't mean you have a right to know literally every single detail of everything associated to it. Do you demand a full view of the clubs books just because you've bought a season ticket? If you attend three games in one season does that entitle you to view a detailed breakdown of each players salary for that season? It's often said on here and often dismissed as people like TRB and IA being arrogant that if you want to become privy to all this information then you could quite easily get involved. Not as if TRB was some expert solicitor specialising in getting rugby teams a new stadium 10 years ago. If you want to know all the information involved at these weekly meetings then by all means I'm sure they'd love the help. Would I like to know more? Of course I would. Would I be willing to give up large amounts of my free time in order to get the information to pass on to people like me? Absolutely not, and while ever this is the case I will make do with the scraps that we're given, and so should everyone else. Just like last time when they repeatedly said they couldn't tell us anything and then had a public meeting at Belle Vue when the time was right, the time will come again. You just have to be patient. It's really not difficult.
Well said. To be fair, I used to come on here looking for answers to my worries. But in reality, why should I? Reading between the lines, there are some folk on here who know stuff and are involved. I am sure it is complex. I know who I suspect are the corrupt and difficult barriers to our progression. I await developments and would encourage us all to keep supporting and hoping. Funnily enough, for once, I feel our time just might be round the corner. I've met MC and I reckon that 1 he's a good guy, 2 he's a sharp cookie

I am in the camp of Newmarket but having said that would be very happy for a fully re vamped BV even if it meant us moving away until it was re built.

I think if it was re vamped but to a proper 4 sided ground we could have a decent compact stadium with a reasonable capacity.

There maybe some bias since 2014 I have lived within walkimg distance.

Over the past few months i have walked past and looked at the stadium in a different way to say on a Sunday. There is a lot of space beween the touchline and doncaster rd. Could have new main east stand with hospitality running the length. This would free up the south end where you could have terracing

It'd be great if we could get something off the back of Newmarket but tbh I'd take a few new roofs, bogs, paint and bit of a filler for the cracks atm.

Sorry but i'm sick of the cloak and dagger crap, this has gone on too long for that. I don't think you realise it but you are losing support Phil. It is dead and you know it is, it's now nothing more than a lightweight bargaining tool. The time has come for you to be actually just honest with people and tell them whats happening, because they sure as hell deserve that now? Or shall i do it for you and get it out there in the open?

Maybe some are getting disinterested, but I don't think the endeavour to get a new home is losing support. If/when Trinity move to Dewsbury I suspect a few more people will start to care again.

Then give people some of the info. It doesn't have to be in depth specifics but a simple statement saying what the current aims with the negotiations are. There's other more detailed info that is probably more sensitive right now and that is understandable that its kept under wraps but what is wrong about telling supporters that and keeping them in the loop to a certain extent. It might just help keep those disinterested in the whole situation onside because if it goes belly up again then the support of those people might just be needed in any action moving forward.
