Then give people some of the info. It doesn't have to be in depth specifics but a simple statement saying what the current aims with the negotiations are. I've heard from some people close to this that NM will never be built but BV could well still be redeveloped, even without the superbowl. Thats whwre we are currently at. There's other more detailed info i've been told that is probably more sensitive right now and that is understandable that its kept under wraps but what is wrong about telling supporters that and keeping them in the loop to a certain extent. It might just help keep those disinterested in the whole situation onside.
I don't there is any harm posting what you may have heard. There's been quite a revealing thread on totalrl with various theories on what's happening.
Sorry but i'm sick of the cloak and dagger crap, this has gone on too long for that. I don't think you realise it but you are losing support Phil. It is dead and you know it is, it's now nothing more than a lightweight bargaining tool. The time has come for you to be actually just honest with people and tell them whats happening, because they sure as hell deserve that now? Or shall i do it for you and get it out there in the open?
I agree that you deserve better - you have no idea how many times we have asked for information to be released - but if it damages the process then we won't - if want to call that crap then fair enough!
I didn't say that NM was the answer, but whatever the answer is, NM is still the key!
You can say what you want to say, that is your prerogative, but this is, even within the context of this long running effort, a delicate time and the Trust is working with the club to try and formulate a plan for going forward.
SC mentioned that we would try and get something out once everyone is back and have met. That hasn't happened yet, but should do shortly.

I'll call your bluff on this one, the stage is yours, give us all the information that you have.
what if the last resort was to share with Cas at GH would half the assett become ours
I'd rather go to Dewsbury (or anywhere else), than play as tenants at Cas, especially with all the input that our council leader and his cronies have been willing to put into that scheme. If that scenario were to come about, unless it was for a short while (to allow our ground to be built/upgraded), I would prefer to walk away with my pride in tact. I realise that TRB and Co have given plenty to the cause (far more than others can or would give) but, IF Glasshoughton was the answer, i'd rather stick pins in my eyes. We've seen just how little the local authority have done thus far, and how they allowed the "white box" to be built, to the determent of the Newmarket scheme and sharing with Cas, in Cas, is not an option !

With you on this one . If it came to GH I would severe all ties with RL and look elsewhere for my entertainment. No way share with 'Cas.

That is also where I am. I am proud of where I come from and our heritage, but I also realise that this must be at least equally so for both Cas and Fev. It is vital to all 3 communities that their clubs remain in their City/Town/Village - why should we be any different!
