A true work horse, never took a backward step and very rarely missed a tackle. Never saw him have a bad game. Think I only ever saw him pass the ball once and we scored off it! His name should be used in the dictionary to describe the word grafter

the only thing that stopped glancy was gardening!!!

thoughts on wally was that he was 3 steps in front of the opposition, but unfortunately at least 5 steps in front of his team mates!!

Thats true in many ways

Without the likes of Alan Burns and Scott Lewis in the team much of what Wally did would not have been effective.

for me it has to be ellis and tony kemp. not many people liked kemp but i was ok. had his name on the black and white shirt we had

Lots of great players who you could chose but for me Gaz Ellis is the player we need at BV.
