My favourite pork pies are from Hoffmans - they are excellent. Not tried Gledhills but will have to give them a go to see if I like them any better.

For curries, the Dewan restaurant in Rothwell (by J44 M1) is difficult to beat.

that new curry house on westgate is surprisingly nice - mumbai. would recommend it. not in the same league as the last viceroy in horsforth nor akbars in bradford/manchester but decent all the same
