Let's be realistic about this. We have some players in our team that are top class, and some of them are potentially world class. These guys are on fixed term contracts, so it's only to be expected that 'bigger' clubs will be after them. Our only chance of keeping them is if the bigger clubs don't want to pay them substantially more than we do - whether this be due to cap constraints or whatever - and the players decide that the little bit of extra money is not worth leaving the joyful family atmosphere at BV for.
This is how we lost Peter Fox, and how we may lose others who are much better than Foxie. Good luck to them, I say (except when they're playing against us!). We're getting our monies worth out of them now, and every one of them is entitled to a say in their career. I just hope they don't get their heads turned by greedy agents.
We have got the potential to be a really good team, to do that we need to keep good players, and part of that is competing with other clubs financially. Less than 5000 against Catalans may not cut it much longer!
