Lot of merit in what you say. With a bit of time and the footage you could make most players look like world beaters.

Has he played internationally or in Origin?

Not Millard, as I've not seen him, but why do we, no just Wake field, keep bringing mediocre players over when we're told how great our academy system is!

i personally have not got access to the NRL and as such will not wet my pants overs a maybe/if/but signing based on 9 mins of footage.

many on here know me personally and will understand why I Have posted the above News is news fair do's.
This is just anyway of talking blox and keeping a thread alive and giving yourself a rumour to believe in (rumour being an unconfirmed report of a man that said say so that somebodies brother said in the chip shop)

Take your point and fortunately its not people on this board who decide who we do and don't sign, thats down to the board and Kear. I for one have 100% confidence in Kear but there is nothing wrong in getting excited about possible signings whether they materialise or not. I used to wet my pants every year the "Wally Lewis is Coming" rumour started.

I think there is an element that because someone has an Aussie accent then they are going to be better then indigenous players. Probability would point to that being true as Australia get the top athletics playing for their game where as here we seem to get the cast offs from other sports or big lads playing, instantly limiting numbers.

But as the overseas limit is now down to 6 (baring a few exemptions.) we should see more quality imports (rather then average) complimenting a squad of predominantly British players with a healthy supply of academy products gaining first team experience.

Played for Figi in the world cup.

Our acadamy is good thats why we have so far signed 6 on full time contracts and no doubt we shall be signing more on. However you can't fill team with acadamy players.

This signing looks more & more likely to me, according to today`s League Weekly JK`reply when asked about him said..."He`s a very good player, isn`t he?! JK then went on to add.."There will be an announcement about an overseas player within the next fortnight. Who it is I will let you speculate, but I do think he is a very good player". When asked about Ty Williams from the Cowboys he admitted "We did look in great depth at Ty Williams.

League Weekly also reports that Warrington are rumoured to be prepared to pay around £200k for Ryan Atkins, Nice little earner for the club if that`s true.

I would like to keep Atkins, however Millard looks equally as good. Not seen Ty Williams play, whats his position and age anyone?

indeed enough for us to tempt ratchford from salford everything is so up in the air at the moment i wish we could find out who is going who is staying so we know where we stand
