If people are help bent on laying the blame at one player's feet, then what about Kyle Amor, his stupid carry which was deemed a knock on, then two plays later Dixon kicked the penalty to level the game. I am not blaming Amor, I am just pointing out that if you look at the game there are many things done where you could blame one particular player. IMO the penalty was given after the hooter but it is done and the game is gone.

On another note, while not a glamorous game with loads of flair it did show that the super league needs this kind of intensive Derby fixture.

The lad actually had a good game, the try against him was 50/50, the mistake was by Veivers anyway passing the ball in that position instead of taking it in and the penalty was a rush of blood to the head. There were 25 others out there having the same rush of blood in extra time.
Great cup-tie for all the right reasons, gutted we lost but good luck Cas.

Re: dale morton : Sat May 21, 2011 4:47 pm
Thought he had a pretty good game to be honest, until the lunacy of the last second. DId a lot of good work with ball in hand and played as much of a part in us getting as far as we did than anybody else did. For what its worth he should have never been in a position to get the ball stolen off him early doors so cannot be singled out for that.

Absolute brain fart from him on the hooter, and deserves a right royal bollocking from his coach and senior players - but on the whole played very well.

The thing that cost us the game was our niaveity on the last tackle and the shocking decision making when kicking the ball. Countless mis measured kicks and wrong options and the worrying thing is we seem to do it week after week and not learn from it.

Yeah but effort alone dunt cut it. These are professional players, they have to be able to play with more nouce than that, young or not. Don't try impossible drop goals when a kick to the corner will do. Too many of our team haven't 'got it' and never will have.

Poor kicking game and not stopping the Cas off load are the reason we lost this game imo. Yes players made individual errors buts thats RL and they have to live with it in the dressing room.

What a ridiculous thing to say.

Since you don't bother going to games, you don't have to worry about seeing him in a Wakefield shirt do you?

You're the type of 'fan' that no club needs.

Well surely you should know that being a bit that way yourself.

True but its not the players that are the bad apples its stay away can't be bothered fans who just "give it large" on here.

HTH.

Sorry but in Wakefield's last big game for 3 years, and possibly beyond, I wouldn't do that. I might bag the odd player when it's massively justified but I never bag fellow supporters. Any support is welcome no matter how passionate or what take they have.

Together we are stronger.

Really disapointed we lost today once again whole hearted effort for the whole 80 mins .It would be wrong to single out any one player for the defeat it is a team game But is a great advert as to why neither of us should go through the charade of obtaining a franchise
