Does it mean we are making no more signings, so the squad is virtually complete, or does it mean our signings are in the bag, but maybe not yet announced, so the squad is virtually complete?

I would hope and expect the latter as the squad is nowhere near strong enough as it is.

Playing for Fev with the option of a recall may be the route that's being taken(hopefully that's available).

It could well be that contracts for other players have been agreed and there is phased release of the info.

Wonder if Catalan already knew that Casty was coming back which is why they were happy to offload Paea and Simon off their wage bill to afford him?

Article in this week League Weekly ref Paul Aiton (Leeds releasing him). I wonder if he could get a visa to play at another club

Her statement suggested we were just looking to fill the half back position to complete our squad which she hoped would be Smith. No mention of looking to add to any other part of our squad.

I think the whole of Wakefield hopes it's Tim Smith, without him we're a struggling team again!

Let's not forget Kath is saying this with all knowledge inside the club. There may be 3 or 4 more players signings complete which are still yet to be announced by the club.

If they have made further signings what is the point in withholding the names, it does not make fiscal sense because signings help sell season tickets.

Our squad is nearly completet isn't it. There's probably maybe 2 or 3 at best permanent signings to come and Webster says he's looking for a couple of loan deals.

The squads around the 22 mark with 2 of thosse going out on loan and that's without Smith and Owen. If we get like what I said above plus some U19 contracts, we'll be about were Webster wants to be. The thing is going to be the quality of those to come. Webster says he wanted quality over quantity, so if it is TS and another couple of SL players and a couple of decent loan players, I dont think we'll be too bad at all, we'll see.

If non of the above happen I'd be worried but for me it's far too early for that.

As for announcing, the season still hasn't ended, there could be a myriad of reasons why the Club haven't announced signings yet.
