Big improvement required second half. Saints are making yards for fun and are going from end to end in one set with ease. Big chance blown by Lyne to go in 12-24.

Not the biggest fan of Miller but yes when he does take on the line he offer varity and there is always a chance he could break a tackle, with the best will in the world Williams or Finn won't do that.

This is the reason why we can't bring back any stay aways or attract new fans. Build up games like this only to cock them up. Catalans home play off in 09 an example.

Poor game but doesn't take away from a good season. We aren't going to trouble the top four, the big teams are gearing up and the intensity will be stepping up. We need another season like this one next year to build the club up. Too much of a jump . Cas are a good blueprint. A couple of seasons in the top 8 then push on for better things.

Listened into the match whilst I'm here in the US. Sounded like we made far too many mistakes with ball in hand near their line, especially in the first half. Maybe that cost us too much on the points difference which has cost us our 4th spot. Also Radio Yorkshire seemed to suggest there were a few questionable decisions.

As I see it now I think the semi finals will be Cas v Saints and Leeds v Hull. I just can't see us getting there in the final four after another 7 rounds. Having said that it has still been a fabulous season and another of over achievement. Just a shame we didn't get the extra home fixture to help the club coffers.

Shambolic from trying to get in with only 2 turnstiles open on Doncaster rd to the complete team performance or should I say lack of it. The players have cost you a few grand today Mr Carter with dropping down to 5th

Dont know what to say.
We were 2nd best in every department and to a man, Saints were better than us today.
Yes' there were some awful decisions but, our ability to get to the last play and execute something positive was the difference between the 2 teams.

Our pack were no match for Saints, our halves were 2nd best and they cut possession to the flanks, which nullified any thereat from either BJB or MCB.

We have to dust ourselves down and go again in 2 weeks.

Level points with Salford, who take 4th spot, so, everything still very much to play for but, today was disappointing.
