Hull KR released 11 players at the end of the season. Add to that Robbie Mulhearn has now gone to Warrington.

How have Hull KR strengthened was the question.

Nor in Simms is probably the best of the three brothers but his peak passes some time back.

So he and the Melbourne bench warmer are going to make HKR world beaters?

Is the bench warmer a proven quantity?

LOL, when does any team start training with a complete squad before the new year!

Tinkering to the last moment is part of it.

The core is there, where as by your reckoning HKR are still half a team light!

We may have a better squad but it’s what you produce with them and over the last two seasons this as been less than impressive. We had survived for many of the early years with a squad considered to be inferior to many but because of team spirit and coaches getting the best out of what they had at the time.

Every year the same chikin lickin people come on and kindly explain to us all just why the era of Trinity is about to end. Well, thanks.

NEWSFLASH! We already know the problems facing the club, we don't live in a bubble, well not that kind of bubble. Despite plenty of valid excuses we all know that on occasions some players failed to do their best as did the coaches as did the BOD. They have all admitted mistakes were made, the results clearly showed that on occasion they were.

So what, that was last year, move on for heaven's sake. This is a new season, fresh slate, some new players, some players returning, some good youngsters keen to make a mark. Above even that there is a Coach who even to the most demented and negative of minds they can't possibly believe that he wants to repeat last year, why would anybody think he hasn't learned some valuable lesson?

Every season is a fresh start and anyone who's supported any team for any length of time knows that things change and a few bad years are often followed by a few good ones. Sometimes its a few key signings but mostly it's a positive response from the players already at the club.

As fans, our job is to support the club and on the day the players, nothing more. We can have opinions on matches and players but other than that nobody on here has the inside knowledge to comment further. You can speculate wildly if you must but any attempt to add a layer of knowledge onto that is just laughable.

We don't know the club's plans, we don't know the final team, we don't know the tactics and training and above all, we don't know the mentality in the camp. So, in the same way, I'm not going to predict a double-winning season for Trinity then can the doom-mongers cut out the nonsense regarding relegation and our supposed inferiority to Leigh.

Thanks and enjoy the 2021 season, not like you can do anything to change it.

There has to be an element of sitting on any brass that we may have earmarked for new and additional players.
Without any certainty of spectators being allowed in for the start of the new season, it makes financial sense to keep hold of the pennies.
Bringing new players in a little later than usual isn't ideal but, the season doesn't start until March (it was the end of Jan last season) and it's yet another challenge for the players and staff and the club.

Everyone starts on 0 points so, it's all to play for.

Clean slate for everyone.
I do hope that any money is spent wisely and not on several players for one position.....
