It's in 88M's interest to make as much money from the BV site as possible, that is all. Best way to do that is to work with the council to ensure any future applications don't involve a planning condition imposed on it, not working with any other company to provide a stadium.

Contracts have been exchanged on the sale of the Freehold of BV to M88. Completion expected early Sept.

Weeeeeeeeeell my question was "are you 100% certain that 88M (not M88 ) are now the owners of the leasehold for BV" and by your own volition by quoting that the process has not yet been completed then you cannot be 100% certain

All that said I'm not after an argument I was purely asking the question as I made an enquiry earlier this week that led me to think that this was not "100%" fait de complis, which by all accounts I was right to presume, even if im showing a little pedantry

Well I guess the owner off 88M (FFS) could get struck by lightening or Yellowstone Park could erupt over the Bank Holiday weekend and maybe the finalisation of the paperwork won't go ahead but otherwise I'm 100% sure that 88M ( ) are the new owners of the stadium land.

I think you've missed my point
The reason I asked the question was because I was aware that the ground is still for sale and Sanderson weatherall are still accepting offers, this was brought to my attention by someone telling me they enquirered this week, which to me indicates that this isn't a done deal and I've not read anything on here that makes me think otherwise, there may well be an offer accepted and contracts looking to be exchanges, but that's still not 100% (ok ok maybe 99.9% but not 100%) I asked a sensible question and apart from the "in the know" getting the name of the main player wrong, there is not yet 100% certainty that this is a done deal. I did say I didn't want an argument, I have stated facts, all other views are speculative, I'm not sure why I should be on the end of your angst, but it's Friday and a long weekend so I'll say no more on this until the contracts are exchanged between the interested parties
