If I had a pound for every time TRB has said " I can't go in to details " I would have enough money to build my own stadium. Isn't it about time somebody spoke out and exposed the people who have made promises for their own ends and shafted the club. Do these people deserve to be protected ? These people need exposing so they can join the line of "self important men " who have let the club down step forward ... Pearman Glover and now ......?

You wanna swap places? Yesterday was tough, very tough. But the reason we do not act as you suggest is that, despite it being tough, we will get more from this process doing it this way!

No-one has come up with a better option. If we follow your suggestion we might have 2 weeks of fun and then we'd be fish and chip paper, and still with nothing. At least this way we still have a way forward, slow or not!

I wish I could say more - I'd give you the chuffing pound as well!

said it once and I'll say it again we ought to look into a self build stand like what Fev did, they may be having pitch problems but that stand look great

As I've said 100 times, at this stage what matters is that we have a stadium fit for purpose. At the moment BV is way short of that. Whether it is cheaper to do BV than NM is debatable - but a self build on the scale of what we need is out of the question - this is way more than a stand with a few seats in it.

PS, I'd love to come and project manage it if we do! :-)

I must be incredibly hard and frustrating trying to negotiate when half the table isn't as commited the trust. Let's keep strong and keep battling.

I consider myself to be the ordinary supporter and I don't think it would be rubbish at all, must be just me.

I wouldn't mind the club doing a poll to see how many fans come by public transport nowadays and if one extra bus woud put many off.

Who says that it woud be a souless half empty stadum if it got built. It would be up to the club and the fans to make it what it could be.

I also wouldn't underestimate what the corperate side of things could do for the club either, as well as having on site training facilities.

Saying that IF we coud get the required money to buy back Belle Vue, sort out extra parking and renovate the whole ground, that would obviously be a massive improvement over what we already have.

If the stadium trust bought back belle it all depends how much funding the have to how much will be developed. If we can afford a full redevelopment of Belle Vue surely it would be cheaper just for new (off the shelf) stadium at newmarket. As for car parking if staying at belle vue I'd get stadium sorted first I've never had a problem parking at belle vue I don't see the obsession in it. Most grounds don't have car parks and those that do people avoid, imagine some on here paying a fiver to park at belle vue.

Car parking next to the ground is a requirement of the RFL for officials etc. add to that the sponsors etc and there is just not enough at BV currently.

I've seen Karl Kirkpatrick threaten to abandon a game because someone nicked his space - seriously!

I know, East stand/Super Bowl carpark is ample, I was talking about the supporters car parks they would be good revenue though but I'd get stadium sorted first. I'd love to stay at Belle Vue Redevelop it but still have a bit of character that these box set out of town stadia lack. Start with new covered west terrace and move onto the rest.

WAKEFIELD TRINITY - The PRIDE of Sporting Wakefield

THE DEFINITION OF INSANITY IS DOING THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER AGAIN AND EXPECTING DIFFERENT RESULTS

Yes but he needed to be parked close by, to get to his car quickly when the woman with the umbrella was pursuing him. :UMB:

Disappointing (but not altogether surprising) to hear that the meeting didn't go as well as hoped. Keep your chin up and keep plodding on.

TRB you (and your co-workers) have no need to apologise or justify anything you do to anyone on here. Those complaining have every right to get off their butts and do something on their own initiative to take the club forward. What's the phrase? Put up or shut up.

What can I say. I was hoping for more BUT I couldn't wish for more commitment, patience and sheer hard graft than what TRB, IA et al are putting in. Keep going lads and know you have a lot of respect and quiet support from a lot of people.
