Just thinking, if we do end up at Dewsbury, how is that ground gonna hold SL games when it's attendance is 3500 or whatever it is. That hardly covers our own fans let along when Leeds, Hull, Wigan etc come to town. That's the one thing I don't get in this proposed move, the Stadium is nice & tidy but I thought we needed a 10k stadium to play in SL or whatever the number is. As MC as stated he wants to start looking at selling Season tickets for next year in the next month or so. Unless there's going to be so some upgrades to the ground we're going to take a serious hit in the cash department because of attendance.
So if we don't get Belle Vue purchased Hull FC at home will be our last game at Belle Vue
That's been on my mind since the news came out, this year truly could be our last at Belle Vue. If that's the case hopefully everyone that's not come to a game before for whatever reason , or fans that haven't been in ages, can make an effort and fill the place one final time.

I don't know how true this is Shifty old boy so don't be shooting the messenger, but I was told on Sunday that just about the only thing we own at Bellevue were the seats in the Eastern stand, and that if the club were going to Dewsbury so would those seats, maybe that might go someway to answering your fears about upgrading the ground.

Not true, as far as I am aware, the bank own the land but the club owns everything that is on it such as the stands, seats, hospitality block.
That's how I remember it, wasn't the quote "everything above the turf is owned by us"?
The WHOLE of Belle Vue Stadium is up for sale APART from the 4 storey hospitality modular building with viewing balconies [ this fixture only is owned by present tenants and does not form part of the freehold interest] the total area up for sale is 5.8 acres, you can go to the Sanderson Weatherall property for sale site and everything you need to know about the sale is there.

By the way there was an extant planning permission consent given to build 106 dwellings on the Belle Vue stadium site which was renewed once and was due to expire in February 2016, whether this has been renewed again i don't know, there is nothing further listed but for further info on planning consent you have to contact Wakefield Council Planning Department, so i presume if there is still a planning consent in force for these 106 dwellings the council will know.
