I’d expect around 25-30 players so we will have to wait and see who comes in.

Interesting that when you think of Kay, you think there must be a spot in the 17 for him, especially in the championship, but its starting to look increasingly likely that he will be a squad player going into next year.

We defo need some more decent front rowers, Kennedy would fit that mould for sure.

One thing you definitely need in the Championship is players with physical size who also have a reliable work rate but must stand up and be tough when the games become attritional.

Going away to places like Batley, Halifax & up to Cumbria will be real tough tests, they make it so. If we are to win those types of matches, games that become a slog down the middle, we have to have the ability to scrap tooth and nail and win the arm wrestle.

We need a couple of big front rowers who won’t wilt on a freezing, wet, Tuesday night in Barrow.
