And whilst I am being controversial (must be down to having been on nights this weekend !!), I would have to level some of the same at Mickael Simon...like Annakin, he runs it in hard, but never busts a tackle or makes a clean break. We need the bigger forwards such as Anderson, Scruton, Lautiiti, Dan Smith, Kirke (if he would run it in as hard as Annakin and Simon, he might actually make an impression !!) to keep driving it in and get us on the front foot.

The stats do back you up regarding Annakin but not Simon. He has the most tackles busts of all our props bar Dan Smith who has played a bit of his rugby in the back row.

Fair comment, Boyem...I was half-right then ...but I would still like to see Simon bulk-up a bit and start busting tackles...to me he has the physique of a second rower.

I thought Anakin had a poor second half and his ill-advised offload kind of changed the momentum of the match. However, even at 13 he still pretty much played as a prop of which he is not. No doubt with the new addition we’re unlikely to see him much for the remainder of the season.

I don’t think we have any actual props that can break the line. Lauitiiti is perhaps the only player who can and he’s not getting any younger.
