Speaking to someone close to the project, they haven't put the last sections in as they are waiting for the concreate terracing castings to be delivered. The crane would be unable to reach the end (this is why the front part of the roof hasn't gone on). Concreate castings are what the north stand is also waiting for.

Once they are delivered I guess this will motor along

Yes you do, but I don’t blame you for keeping out if it :D

It would be great if you could follow your own advice. At the beginning of this thread you made a big deal about people derailing the thread when it should be just about good news on the stadium build. Lets try and keep it that way.
Also, don't start trying to wind people up calling them other user names. Again, you don't like that when it happens to you and I've stepped in many times on your behalf when you've got upset about it. Its hypocritical at best to now do the same.

Let’s be right there’s no improvement regarding the roof so fans who stand in the bottom tier will still get pxss wet through upgrade no it’s a paint over

Cosmic, as there is loads of content on this thread to prove that it is not just a paint over, your post, which started this, is pretty much trolling. Its against the AUP. If you continue with it I'll have to apply the rules the same for you as anyone else trolling. This is your warning.

Been to Friday lunch today, had a look at the steelwork from cats bar. Looking very impressive even though there are still the last 2 sections to be erected. There seems to be some work going on behind the cats bar/hospitality boxes, not sure what that is, nothing obvious on planning application. The work on the North Terrace is ongoing, and I think some new steps have been laid. Lets hope the weather improves enough to crack on with the build.

Then you need to speak to someone about that. I'm not qualified to help you.
You literally just posted this to Cosmic.

I forgot to mention that today’s guest speaker was Francis Stephenson, most on here will know him as scoring the winning try v Featherstone to take us into super League. I was amazed how his career in the game unfold from junior rugby to progressing through Trinity ranks, playing for Wigan and then London.
After London he was given a managerial role at Trinity, and was instrumental in producing the paperwork for the franchise that kept Trinity in Super League. He has a role in Rugby League that involves the Welfare of players who leave the game through retirement/injury etc, and most recently wheelchair rugby league. I’m sure I’ve missed bits out here, but as usual at these lunches, it was entertaining, informative and funny, and as most interviews at the lunch was questioned by the very able Mr Gerry Wright, who is excellent in making the guest speaker comfortable and entertaining.
The Friday lunch has raised funds of £600, and agreed by the attendees that this would be used to sponsor an Academy player. At the end of the Lunch, Ray Wood said a few words re his son Robert. His funeral service will be held at Kettlethorpe. No flowers, and any donations given would be added to the £600, raised by luncheon club for the Academy sponsorship. A verkind gesture I’m sure you’ll agree.

Had some dealing with Franny in his management days at Trinity… really solid and intelligent guy… sounds like a good event and resulted in some great pictures of the ground!!

Thanks!

Thread cleaned up.

This is the best thread we have had on here, so I am not prepared to see it ruined by childish sniping.
Put people on ignore if they annoy you, or have some time away from the forum. Your choice(s)

Stick to the topic in hand, which is coming on marvelously and is a good one for us all to see!

You have been warned.

I agree ,but it is hard to ignore comments that are totally incorrect about some aspects of the topic .

If it's topic related than by all means debate it, that's what the forum is about. It's the personal insults
and sniping that can't stay.
