Getting back to topic.
One, you can see the roofline of the new stadium from Barnsley Rd, making BV far more of a landmark.
Two, looking at the scale of the East Stand, it's the first time I've genuinely felt I could call BV a stadium without feeling the need to apologise.

Doncaster Road? It's quite prominent driving into Wakefield from the east.
Agree with the second point.

As a young en, I used to love walking to a night game through the graveyards towards the bright lights.
Be something else with a big ole' grand stand to head to!

I lived on Belle isle avenue for a few years… and often walked out out the back of the house when the floodlights were on full… iconic sight!
I can imagine now though that the residents of Regent Street that back on yo the ground will be less resistant to something covering the west terrace now there’s a big stand full of fans gazing into their back windows!?!?

You’ll need to be as quick it’s not Nelsons column but you can see it and on an evening with the lights on should be even more visible.

Well I certainly did have, he's an old colleague of yours as it turns out, he has apparently acquired a real acumen for business development, and is now a senior partner in multiple companies' including his flagship a vastly expanding global security company, unfortunately for our club it looks like the opportunity has sailed as now it seems he has an interest in another club with far more excitable opportunities than ourselves, I can pm you his details if you believe there's a slight chance of any turnaround in his ambitions but I have to warn you that I think you'd probably be wasting your time with his train of thought at this time, good luck anyway and keep up the good work
