Its not what we want, rather more of what is needed. BV may be a compromise, but somewhere between flattening the whole lot and building a new stadium and the proverbial 'lick of paint' is a set amount of work required to a) meet the RFL minimum standards and b) operate a viable club at this level, including the ability to generate income on many more days a year than currently available.
Aslong as we can at least achieve A & B this club has a chance. I always thought the total rebuild of belle vue was a long shot because if the trust could afford that they would have done it at newmarket. If we play smart the redevelopment of belle vue will work, obviously we need a new main stand for the corporates community and 7 day a week use but we've already got the corporate boxes so if start with flattening the west terrace building full length covered terrace as the new home terrace this would change the dinamics of BV considerably and solve the home/away fan problem we have at the moment (away fans back behind the sticks) then move onto East stand with all the facilities then get rid of the boxes and build a south stand. Do this in stages get everyone on board as this could work.
