As for Sky, they, like everyone else in rugby league hate us Wiganers because of our dominance back in the day.

If you ask me, its about time rugby leagueland stopped hating Wigan, who havent won anything in years, and started hating Stains who have been dominant.

Except Stains

I dislike the Whinos, loathe Hudds ( cos they beat us already this season ) and actually despise Cas 'cos their fans are total and utter halfwits.

Quite frankly the crowd was appalling.

A team with three wins on the trot,a nice day,chance of going second on the ladder and we attract 5500.


This also makes me worry that even in a new stadium the fixture would only attract 8000 - and the majority of the increase in supporters would come from the away team.

It seems that the public of Wakefield couldnt care if we have a team or not.

If that is the case we need a different approach to our marketing.

Although I don't buy the official figure for one moment, it was a pretty dire effort all things considered from both sets of fans (not the away teams job to provide the crowd though, so our own fault).
