Thank you everyone for attending and for your support. Alot of hard work has been done to get us to the point where we are tonight. We hope everyone can draw positives from tonight. I will be writing up the minutes but no chance tonight.
Thank you
No, thank you and the others for the time and effort in getting this far, good luck with it in the future.
I reckon just 2 people dragging it down is a result in a room full of Wakey fans, and they just let off a bit of steam.
Most fans seemed to share the view it can only be a good thing and i welcome it, like you say a bit of a positive feeling afterwards.
Will enough fans back it, we'll have to see but i reckon they will
i will gladly back it, i think by the meeting tonight that all fans who attended will backit but are very wary of the present bod and their continued involvement
The general feeling was positive and I think the fans were welcoming of the Supporters Trust and what it could achieve. There were a lot of very good questions which showed the level of interest and I hope people found the answers to be frank, informative and honest.
The latter half of the meeting was always going to be a little difficult everyone’s frustration at the lack of information from the club began to show. However, I think everyone recognised that we had tried to get some details from the club but were genuinely unable to offer any definitive answers.

Good.
Thats not a bad thing really, being wary is wise at this stage.
I fear, and especially from what you say about a BOD that asks for money but won't tell you what is going on - sounds pretty disgraceful - you will need it.
Positive meeting tonight ... After an initial discussion about the supporters trust and an explanation of how the trust works including a member from the supporters institution present, it was unanimously desided to vote in the supporters trust ...
Once the supporters trust is set up i believe some of the key objectives will be to get a ''seat'' on the board to speak on behalf of the fans and understand why decisions are made and make decisions... How do we get a seat on the board ?? we can do this by creating a big enough membership in the supporters trust to be forced to be heard and also by having enough shares within the supporters trust collectively to be listened to... Rough estimates are that we need 10% of the shares or around 53000 shares to possibly force the board to listen to us and there was reasonable conformation that we had that amount in the room...
The chair of the meeting also indicated that there was no intention of buying into Teds offer of purchasing or raising the £500000 as we have no evidence of what the debts actually are and possibly administraion could be very much a posibilty... This could results in our proxy shares being nul and void including many other sponsorships but there looks to be willing investors in the club should we enter admin as they can buy the club on the cheap and still keep us in SL as the admin clause has no been thrown out of the window after the Crusaders affair ... Or we may somehow get out of this mess and have a voice on the board with enough shares within the supporters trust...
That said, the supports trust is a step forward and membership will be looking to be around £50 a year and fund will be set up... Fans to act on our behalf will be voted in by the members and we will also be looking for financial assistance from fans and sponsors and members of the trust with specialist skills... We may be relegated, we may stay up but one way or another the supporters trust is a step in the right direction...

That actually a very good summary of the meeting, one small clarification though, The Wakefield Trinity Supporters Trust will pay a £50.00 fee to Supporters Direct to become affiliated with them.
The fee that individual fans of Wakefield Trinity will pay to become a member of the WT ST has not yet been set but it was suggested that £20.00 per year might be reasonable.
Just to say thanks to all who attended and gave thier support.
Sorry if some felt it went on a bit at the end. I guess it did but I wanted people to be able to have their say and the last thing I wanted to do was cut people short and leave them feeling "short changed". Another point of clarification, the Trust will not be constituted by the time the deadline approaches so it could not buy shares even if it wished to do so, however how can anyone invest if its not clear what that investment will achive.

Well last nights meeting Cleared one thing up, whilst ever the current BOD are in "control" the supporters trust or the fans will not be listened to or given any facts. Has as been stated their were share holders with a 10% holding at the meeting(not including bod) and they were still refused facts.
If Ted is still with holding the fact, then it must be bad, because if their was any positives then surely now would be the time to let people know.
seen as though the wakey express hate to publicise anything positive about us, they may like to make some of these facts (or lack of facts!!!) public, perhaps they dislike ted more than the club?????
