Not great, but probably not helped by the weather and also the fact that England were playing in the Euros final. Imagine a lot of people were either on an all day session or round at friends etc. I did expect a few more from Wakey to be honest but I suspect the reasons above will also have seen a hit a in numbers.
I suspect that the weather and previous traffic problems for the semi put a few off. I drove this time instead of using the buses and arrived much earlier. As expected, it was a dour winter rugby reincarnation both on the pitch and stood watching.
Bully is right, weather put me off. Plus the fact that both teams were injury ravaged, so I thought it would be a low scoring slug-fest on a small boggy pitch with me miles from the action on a bleak crumbling terrace getting cold and soaked. I opted for the (crap) Radio Leeds commentary while I cooked a Sunday roast for me and the Mrs as she watched Wimbledon.
