Just checked that out, 27 in early december. Thought he qwas a touch older than that but doesn't alter the fact that if he was going to get a go in superleague in should have been 3 or 4 years ago. As for ability, IMHO not as good as either Howarth or Washbrook at loose and not as effective as Ellis, Wildie or Davey at hooker. And if Wood does sign then he'd be a better option there as well. Put it this way, he's a similar style of player as Peter Lupton who is looking for a club, just that Beswick not up to superleague speed and doesn't have as much versility.
