I agree with Pudsey Cat. Im not knocking Bradford and are sympathetic to their plight but what the RFL are doing stinks. Not only wakefield but the RFL have done the dirty on quite a few clubs. They just talk the talk but only walk with the 'Big' clubs. Time for some honest talking from the RFL ad get the game back on track. Clubs should be judged on all round merit, which is coincidently was the licencing process was supposed to do.

As Glover stated in his radio interview, the rent we pay is a massive mill stone around our neck. I dont think that The RFL could sell the lease to any property developers, surely it would revert to Bradford council and they would have to ratify selling Odsal for development.
The consortium do appear to be looking at commercial opportunities at Odsal, rather than rugby matters and whilst i'm all for maximising revenue streams, SL seems a distant second compared to the commercial aspects.

Think he means not helped other clubs out in times of need and not given clubs like Keighley and others a shot at superleague when they had clearly earned it.

Sorry if any Wakefield fans thought I meant them doing the dirty. Its the RFL who have done the dirty on clubs in the past. They need (RFL)to tread carefully because I think some clubs may require assistance in the future.

Exactly. Can't see how having just given the Bulls £1.25m for the lease of Odsal the RFL can even think of giving the lease to the ABC Consortium.

The Consortium are talking of investing £1m but I thought at least £1.2m was needed just to get to the end of the season without any further investment - doesn't add up.

Surely the RFL can see that this is a bum deal and will end in tears.
