We could really shake it up if we beat Salford. We'd still have 3 home games and they'd be under pressure to win some tough games.

Looking forward to it.

Redemption for the players and club!

The next few weekends offer a chance for our players to set the world right and put the nightmare of this season behind us all.

The team really ought to be frothing at the mouth in anticipation of this opportunity.

Rip in from the whistle

A tough set of fixtures but, if we want SL next season it's up to us.

Everyone in there will fancy their chances and the first game is an absolute must win.

Come on Trin !

2 of our home games coincide with lufc home fixtures which will probably hit the gate.

Bizarre, way to further reduce the gate. 3pm Saturday pretty much clashes with most football fixtures. Why not the regular game day of Sunday?

I'm guessing because we won't be able to play on Sundays next year as that's when our landlord will be playing so we will be testing Saturdays out.

Chairman, Michael Carter has spoken about the choice of Saturday games, explaining, “We have chosen Saturday fixtures for two reasons. The first is that we want to have a minimum of a six day turnaround if not seven days between our fixtures. This will be extremely beneficial to get the best out of our team over the seven rounds. Secondly, is to get an appetite of how popular Saturday fixtures will be for the future purposes.”

Thr first reason doesn't make a great deal of sense as the way the away games fall it would would have been at least 6 days between games if played on the sunday anyway. In fact it actually shortens the gap between the Hull KR game and the home game against Widnes. So i would say the main reason is to test the water regarding playing saturdays from next year, possibly with an eye to leaving Belle Vue.

Aren't Sky televising a fixture of the middle 8 competition every Saturday? At least we won't be changed at short notice when the Sky planners sense blood.

How are you lot feeling re the 8's? Have you improved much since Salford beat you at Belle Vue in Brian Smith first game, or much of the same?
