Poor old MC and JM in a bad postion again as how to deal with it.surley this can be classed as gross misconduct and all players could therefore be sacked.ive not seen the videos so aint sure who is involved but the names fifita miller gigot and wood keep popping up so can the club afford to sack these players certainty not a postion id like to be in..at very least fine them and strip miller of captaincy.

Not sure how long Miller, Wood and Fifita have left on their contract, so for those 3 could be quite costly, if it happened. Maybe for the people at the top to think about when their contracts are up for renewal.

Gigot, however, off contract this year, and two local players more than capable of playing in the halves or at full back, so wouldn't need replacing, and salary could be wiser spent elsewhere

Whilst I think some parts of your answer have merit, you didn’t say who you think the fans would blame if we got relegated having sacked the lot of them?

The club in some cases the players in others. It’s not really black and white but I’m sure the club would get most stick because for fans tend to back the players regardless.

I don’t however think that would happen.

We would have time and cap space to plug a few key holes in the squad.

An improvement in culture I think seems an improvement on the pitch, so despite the names associated I don’t believe it would have a detrimental effect on the field.

Reading the posts, it's the senior players letting the club down, and 3 out of the 4 overseas players are that

It is but it needs to be done.

Some of these players are our biggest earners and contributed very little on it for a couple of seasons now.

Leigh are still massive favourites to go down even it all players were sacked who are in the clip.

I’m not saying sack all of them but I would suggest at least 1 needs to go and others need to be demoted from leadership positions.

I agree with a certain one but how do you go about it though? They’re all to blame. Said individual has appeared to be a constant hindrance, trouble maker, Ill-disciplinarian for a while now. Im sure the club would let him go for nowt just to get rid but there doesn’t appear to be too many takers for overweight trouble maker on a massive wedge. He’ll just sit there and pocket it while carrying on the way he does

If this doesn’t constitute gross misconduct I’d be surprised.

Repeat offenders must have had some form of disciplinary action in the past and received warnings.

Over the last few months it would appear that Mr Fifita may be deliberately getting involved in various dodgy aspects in order to "work his ticket" and add amunition to enable a move. Would have expected much better behaviour from messrs. Kirmond and Miller. Disgraceful!!!

This is the bit I can’t understand though. I’m sure mc would just let him go if the opportunity arose. You lose one of your main problems and gain back his hefty salary to use elsewhere. I just don’t think there’s any takers for him

Reminds me of the Tim Smith/ Kevin Locke incident a few years ago which resulted in both of them being sacked and I think at least two other current players were also present ??
For me, they should all be fined something like £1000 each which should then be donated to Wakefield Hospice or some other similar worthy cause ??

Re: club statement : Sat Jan 02, 2021 8:20 pm
Firstly the clubs stated it will deal with the matter internally and that's enough for me.
I just don't get why people need blood, it's a situation that will be dealt with.
I have followed the rules as I understand them and that's in
Essex tier. 4. I feel uncomfortable having to go out to the supermarket when social distancing seems to be non exsistant.
Let the club deal with it but let's be honest some of the suggestions from the fans are totally over the top.
