I'm confused though - it's 2015 - there are many and varied ways to update people as to what's going on; can't we just be told via social media, press release and a website statement?!

Pretty sure there will be updates on social media and press releases after the Public Meeting.

And yes, Bren did arrange for a well respected SLE to speak at the Public Inquiry.

Will the meeting be worth going to or will it be 'yorkcourt have no money' but the council are putting a little finger of pressure on them?

Someone should propose at the meeting to set up some kind of fund or share scheme to buy the Oasis and Superbowl land.

We'd need to buy Belle Vue as well, the total cost would be way out of any scheme of that type. We can't even get people to come to BV let alone buy the place!
