i thought we could have moved on from a selling club he had a contract if that matters how many 2nd rowers do we want if the players offerd were in positions we were thin in then think about it nothing changes does it we give into uncle ken

Doesn't sound that way to me, it looks like what it does, that he stayed to see this season out after the approach by Hudds when we were in Administration and it was probably always on the cards he was going,once Hudds made their offer known. I think it's clear we didn't want to let him leave and could have made him stay but if a player wants away, let them.

Agreed, I 100% believe we are heading in the right direction, and when NM comes to fruition that will be a significant step forward, but until then we need to keep shuffling forward and continue to do all the little things right.
We will get there, and it will take some time, but the early signs are there.

I believe we have got a good deal. We have got some cash and 2 players who will be in our team week in week out in exchange for one player who is a decent player but people overrate just because he is a local lad.

People question Smurph loyalty but yet stayed with us when he could have and shouldve gone to shudds then. So now we are on the up everything going in right direction then chooses to jump ship. Come off it do you people have tinted glasses on??? Murph may not be like Ellis a world beater but when will we draw the line in the sand like Al says Walshaw will be next. Smurph the best academy product in the first team when i spoke to him he honestly said if Wakey move forward as a club he will stay with us as he made the point he could have gone and hes a wakey lad. Smurph stuck it out and got battered every week last season. We have not got the better deal folks as we are still a selling club. Kirmond you seem to think will be first name on the team sheet ... Are you people for real seriously and Raleigh is a average injury prone prop

NAIL ON THE HEAD MY FRIEND. that is exactly what happened. him and along with another 8 players we are trying to offload at the moment. sorry 6 now, murph has gone and tommy lee signed yesterday.i dont think we are getting the best deal at all. danny is ok, yet another 2nd rower. raleigh really suspect with injuries and nowhere near the size we need in the front row. i imagine someone at hudds will be happy with the deal. off loading these 2 for a great young british prospect. if we offload higgins as i am reliably informed we are trying to do even though he has got another year on his contract and leeds call back kyle, we will be left with a laughable front row. for god's sake, we need some power, some grunt and some aggression up front. there is no substitute for that in the front row. fair enough, free up some space, bring in the kiwi scrum half and the aussie stand off and stick sam back in there at hooker but give them something to play behind
