"Castleford's biggest home crowd of the 1991-1992 season wasn't quite 12,000 while on average they'd sit around 6000 but the noise, the chanting and the singing just blows you away" - Tawera Nikau "Standing Tall"

"I can tell you the atmosphere was extraordinary at Wheldon Road on big days. The ground held around 15,000 people, every one of them close to the action on the field and the noise would be enough to send a rumble through the town" - Malcolm Reilly "Reilly - A Life in Rugby League"

If he wasn't a Cas player you would be on the other side of the fence. Do you not find it strange that now he has potential visa issues he signs an extended contract with Cas and declares his desire to play for England? Whether you choose to believe it or not I can assure that I am not the only person to have notice this it was a point originally mentioned by a Cas fan.

As far as your earlier anti-Cas comments look at the thread again, I believe you were the first person to mention this. As for justifying Chase against Johnson. Maybe the world should cut Hitler some slack, yes he was an evil man, but before that he was a very accomplished wallpaper hanger, skills I believe Bin Laden lacked. Yes it was ridiculous comparison but so was medal winner to no medal winner or (mickey mouse) international call up to no call up. As for taking moral high ground about Wakefield signing Johnson while knowing about this incident, Cas stood by Rangi, even arranging for his court date to be moved so he could play in match. If you want to turn this into an anti-Cas thread by all means go ahead but by the looks of it you are very much a solo act, your fellow sensible fans appear to be doing something you can't grasp, the concept of engaging brain before typing.

"As far as your earlier anti-Cas comments" - not me. I'm behind the Tigers all the way. Wouldn't post anything bad (anti) against them. I'm pro-Tigers me.

I realise that you need words or one syllable or less or even visual aids. You were the first person to mention that this thread was a Cas thing even as far as to say "Anti-Cas". I realise that it was a different day so it is possible that you would struggle to recall. The first use of the phrase 'anti-Cas' was you. Whether you are a pro in Cas is irrelevant, what you do for a living is of no interest to me.

Will be interesting to see how many turn up to watch this. Has calling up Chase put people off or have the RFL already sold enough tickets for the game and then given the coach the go ahead to approach him. Could be another poke in the eye for the RFL if you ask me. Then again less revenue for them just means less money to blow on a stupid ideas like Crusaders. (Cru fans not aimed at you was aimed at RFL for introducing you to superleague far too early.)

EVENTUALLY, WE'LL WIN SOMETHING, ,MAYBE, IF I'M STILL ALIVE THEN

Re: Chase for England. : Wed Oct 05, 2011 5:47 pm
The only games I'm interested in watching are the New Zealand-v-Aus ones. I can't get into England. The international game is about GB for me, and Ashes series.

I didn't support Mauri fauvawhatsisname when he played for England and I don't want Chase or any of the other Aussies playing, just because of some grandad rule. Widdop is different. He is English. It would be a very hollow victory if we won it with him, because it would just prove that we can't win it without their rejects.
