congratulations Wakey : Sat Apr 11, 2009 5:50 pm
Got to give your club huge respect and praise despite all the adversity you've faced recentley John Kear and your boys have knuckled down and got on with the job in hand,5th in the league and 4 points behind the leaders, says quite alot about team spirit that you seem to have in abundance.
Now my team as made an early exit from the Cup i'd like to see you boys go on and win it,a fitting legacy to the boys you've lost.
All the very best for the rest of the season.

 this last week when wearing my colours away from wakefield I have encountered more compliments and encouragement to keep the faith going, and the nicest was an old gent from workington when we chatted for half an hour :)

we have seemed to made the public eye but all for the wrong reasons :(

firstly, a warmly thanks for your comments.

however, this is not a dig at you, so please dont take it as such....

id just like to move away from all the adversity speak for a moment...we are 5th in the league, we have a PD of +49 and we are only 4 points off the leaders.....united in the face of adversity aside....surely the ability in the team has to get a mention here....

we are right up there with the best of em at the mo and whilst there is a lot of team spirit, there is a lot of team ability - and id like to credit the lads for that as its something i think has gone unrecognised recently...as has the excellent work from the coaches and staff !!!!

Lost count of how many times I talked to people in the streets around Crofton yesterday about Trinity. Many ex fans are getting interested again in the club. Should have a bumper crowd on Monday.

Hope so the lads and coaching staff deserve some big support, to go through what they have done over the past 12 months and then come through it playing good attractive rugby deserves some massive support
