Did anyone go to this last year?

Is it worth going to? What type of team did we put out last year?

Hopefully we'll not be taking part due to our involvement in another game a few days later.

I went to it last year and it was quite enjoyable tbh, we had a mixed bag of players including ferguson, pitts bibb (iirc) saw some good young players. Worth going to for a nice evening of rugby as long as its good weather.

I know a few others on here went so perhaps they could talk about there expierence ...

Our surfuit of injury returnees offers us a good chance of sending a 1st class team to the event.

Petersen, Winterstein, George, Rooney, Grix, Southernwood, Bibey and a few of the younger lads would make a decent fist of it.

We went, it was quite a good night (apart from Hudds).

Spent quite a while talking to BJ who was there with his little one.

There were a few Wakey fans stood behind the sticks.

Best game of the night was the girls game though (although only just, watching Leeds get knocked out in first game was quite enjoyable too!!)

Was a good event last time. Obviously spoilt by Shudds progressing through but at least it meant I could get off a bit earlier than planned.

It was okay, would help if the teams came to some consensus about what standard of squad they were putting out, Shudds clearly saw it as their main target for the season and put out the strongest squad.
