I think we all need to take a reality check, yes we started the season well, but we were always going to have a dip in form. I missed the Wigan league game as i was away so can't comment on how we played. I watched the Bradford game and thought we were poor in defense, but had a few of the video calls gone our way it would have been a completly different game, so we were not a million miles off.

I am proud of what we as a club have achieved so far in the face of such adversity, that fact that we have a squad who is competing every week should be enough after what has happened to our club!

We need to really get behind the lads for the cup game and show them they have our support after a couple of poorer games.

Maybe Mr Kear should have a play with the line up and change things around a bit.

Part of an interview with Brad Drew on 20th April in the YP... "There's a lot of improvement left in this team," said the Australian. "We need to do more with the ball in hand and maintain the standards we have set in defence. "If we can get a little bit smarter the wins will come easier for us. "The closer the games get the more we are going to have to rely on our attack to get us out of trouble." Full interview here http://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/wakefiel ... 5185415.jp Prophetic words from Brad, and I have to say that IMO this has been coming for a while, can't fault the effort of every player that has played this season, but we've just got away with some wins that should have been far more comfortable with the amount of posession we've had on the opposition line, it was only a matter of time before failure to convert it into points came and bit us on the bum. I think we need to learn how to attack more than defend, putting points on the board and keeping the ball away from the opposition for as long as possible is the best form of defence IMO.

I hope you lot are gonna turn up this week, 5500 for the league match wasn't good enough. But this week your season ticket holders will have to pay to get in . 3 thou will not look good for the game on the BBC. After your loss and our win i think your fans will be watching on tv

I don't disagree too much with that side except for having both Latu and Obst on the bench.

I'd be bringing Pitts back after his week off and have Winterstein on the bench

Realistically you have to accept that teams such as Wigan and Bradford are better than us overall, and that one out of two against both sides is acceptable for a club of our level (aiming for 5th to 8th).

I can't see a large crowd in the Cup, expensive weekend just gone, not expected to win, weather may play its part, but aside from all that - one cup game should be included in the season ticket or the prices should be dropped to fiver a head, kids for a quid, etc... That way you get the numbers in spending their extra money in the club, not in the pubs.

Crowds for the challenge cup are normally pretty poor these days can't see it being a good turnout but you never know.
