i think a lot of players would like to make 'unintentional' contact with Ganson for the sake of a warning letter !

Coh! And what are the RFL gonna do about Hull FC's pitch or Ganson's boot manufacturer in regards to his other tumble before Hull's first try? Ask the KC groundstaff to reseed an alright looking pitch? Tell the boot suppliers to mould some proper studs in the footware? Always thought the RFL were Howell-ing mad, but this is taking the wee-wee. Definite candidate for over-reaction of the year.

I thought this was a strange one also

Huddersfield centre Michael Lawrence has been cleared to play in the Giants' Super League derby with Wakefield at Belle Vue on Saturday.

The 19-year-old was put on report for an alleged "spear" tackle during Huddersfield's 14-10 home defeat by Warrington but has been told by the Rugby Football League's match review panel that he has no case to answer.

The Warrington player must have jumped up and come down head first on his own.

Nowt strange about it at all. Video obviously showed he didn't execute a spear tackle nor did the player end up in a dangerous position.
It was only alleged by Ian "see nowt" Smith and several hundred Wire supporters.
Simples.

What about Wellens` trip on Murphy as he kicked through for Millard`s 1st try, nowt said - now if it had been Murphy on Wellens...............?
