Newsnight 13th May 2010: "With the role of Deputy Prime Minister a non-job. Has Nick Clegg gone from King Maker to tea maker????"

I kept the faith and I kept voting
Not for the iron fist but for the helping hand
For theirs is a land with a wall around it
And mine is a faith in my fellow man
Theirs is a land of hope and glory
Mine is the green field and the factory floor
Theirs are the skies all dark with bombers
And mine is the peace we knew
Between the wars

Impeccably observed minutes silence, and clapped Amos when he was stretchered off!

Proper fans!

Nice to hear that Donna, didn't sound like many made the trip according to the radio? I personally had a late setback which stopped me coming over, but glad those that did were a credit to our club.

Looks like a great time to be a Wigan fan at the moment, sitting proudly at the top of the tree, playing scintillating rugby league and that with a huge core of homegrown lads. It's a marathon not a sprint, but Wigan certainly looking like they can challenge come the end of the season...

Very poor turnout today, probably no more than 200 of you, which is very disappointing. Not sure why so few Wakey fans could be bothered to make what isn't a very long trip on a Monday bank holiday afternoon?

On the plus side, as Donna says, the Wakey fans that turned up were a credit to your club. The ironic chants of "easy" when you got your first try showed a decent sense of humour too, to be fair.
