LONG gone are the days when the Wakey Exp was the main form of news for Wakey Trin. I used to enjoy turning up early at the newsagents to read the Trinity news . I think the express could play a major part in the revival of our club. The last admin relied on twit, and made a mash of it.

Ridings FM? Despite the decline in print media the Express probably still represents the best outlet to get news/promotions regarding the club to potemtially interested targets. The dedicated will get their news online one way or another. The casual support will see it in the Express or likely not at all. I don't see an issue with giving them exclusives.

Exactly, already in the last week or so we have seen MC use the radio and TV media in order to outline. the clubs improved health.
I'm no fan of the Express particularly, but many people are, and if that means people who would ordinarily not get to here about news from the club from any other source can get it from their then that has got to be good.

What do we know indeed!

Wakefield Express weekly circulation figure: 24,145 (July-Dec 2012)
Ridings FM weekly audience: 45,000 (Nov 2012-Sept 2013)

Bearing in mind that you don't just get one opportunity a week to get your story out, the club has always criminally underused other forms of media in comparison to the Express.

Would anybody in Wakey be able to summarise what has been printed this morning then for a Barnsley-based office-tied trinitarian who won't be able to get hold of a newspaper?
