I would like to say I'm surprised, but sadly this was all too predictable. Rotten borough.

Didn't take them long afterwards to fire out a statement. Interesting that the club chairman is on it though.

I think the number of hits it is getting has crashed it, i can't get on any way now. Ultimately it was a 'this is good, trust us' type of thing again.

*Edit* Seems they've fixed the link now.

This page was posted immediately after the council passed the application, a very small amount of time to create a webpage and post it online...indicates to me this was a pre determined decision before the meeting took place!

Box gets his way, dissenting voices removed from the planning committee, Box`s yes men put in place ( roughly worth about £ 30,000 a year in expenses ) from the East of the region. They are told what to do and say or risk getting kicked off the gravy train. Council officers such as planning officer are massively over paid by Box so again they do exactly what they are told or lose their jobs. At today's planning hearing Council did not even put up a speaker it was all just the usual predetermined stitch up.

I have just returned home from the meeting, which I signed out of the building at 10.50. There is no way people could have been interviewed including John Minards, between the end of that meeting and the time of the meeting report. Corrupt developers, corrupt councils, cries of shame on you from the public gallery. This whole planning meeting was a set up. Citizens of WMDC need to wake up, there is a rotten whiff around County Hall.
