Mike Carter has committed the cardinal sin of getting too personally close to an employee! If you thought he was over loyal to Agar & Webster then you can expect Chester to stay no matter what!

The only things I can see happening are:
We survive this year and Chester gets another go next year with the caveat that should we hit another bad slump he moves up to Director of Rugby.

We hit another slump and Chester refuses to take a DoR position and leaves the club

We get relegated, Chester leaves the club and Carter goes with him!

I too watched it on trin tv - the one thing I took from it is the total lack of confidence that eac players has in his inside man making a tackle. In some cases justifiably so . The impact of that can be seen repeatedly as the ball cones in both defenders moving towards the man with ball , after 3 passes winger is actually stood in the area where the centre or second row should be stood , similarly on most tries that came with overlap we had a group of 6 sometimes seven players in vicinity of play the ball. Also our sliding defence doesn’t slide for same reason. Quite how you reverse that o don’t know - but Pauli has to make way for someone who will take his man and actually work at sliding defence , it’s easy to blame the winger for coming in but it’s symptom of an underlying problem

Although I did think bjb s was a somewhat pathetic attempt and mcb thinks he’s playing sevens or in centres

At work yesterday the rumour was that Chester had offered his resignation. Nothing on here so obviously nothing in it, but rumours flying round of players drinking before Catalan game etc & not giving interviews following a defeat is never a good sign!

I've heard rumblings that all may not be well in the camp but only time will tell if there is anything in it. One thing for sure though is that if Chester has lost the changing room then it's rare a coach can get it back any time soon, these things tend to fester.

I've heard rubbings that everything is good in the dressing room and everyone still lives Chester.
