Is there anyone from that team that you’d like at wakey next season?
I think we should be careful what we wish for. At this moment in time, I feel we need one more win. We have not beaten either Warrington or London this season, and should we Lose to Wigan next Sunday, then I will be getting quite nervous again. We have been feeling good this past week, and rightfully so after the HKR win, and I feel slightly optimistic for the Wigan game, but after watching Trinity for the past sixty six years, experience has taught me,”take nothing for granted.”

Agree. A cracking win against HKR, BUT we need to back it up displaying the same attitude against Wigan - it's just too early yet to make any assumptions.

Yep, I think the way to look at last weeks is that we are now in a far better position than had we lost, but, we are still on the crapper until we win one more game.

Absolutely bang on. The job is certainly not done yet and with Warrington's excellent win against Saints yesterday, our fixture over there looks a whole lot more difficult. It could still come down to a last day shoot out with London, although point's difference is still our favour. Beating Wigan right now looks a very tall order, they seem to be in play off mode already.
I cant even decide who to cheer for in the KR v London game - it's all very, very tight.

If London fail to beat the rhinos it's a no brainer who we want to win the following week in the Hull kr London game
I remember about 2 years ago at the John Smith's stadium English scored against us. Even though he was a young lad he clearly had a quite arrogant, anti-Wakefield sentiment in his celebration gestures and posture towards our fans. I understand that he originates from the Wakey area but he never grew up as a fan of our club. If he has such a chip on his shoulder about our club I don't want him anywhere near us.
No doubting his talent but I'm a little bitter like that and remember players arrogance and vulgarness. It is not good for building the dressing room.

I'm sure that others on here know way more about English than I do but, was he overlooked / turned down by Wakefield before he went elsewhere ? It would certainly explain his OTT celebrations. IIRC he was well up for that game and was lucky that one of our pack didn't belt him. Although, playing prop doesn't give you anywhere to hide. At the time I put it down to being a petulant young player although he was Shudds best forward that day.
