The article doesn't actually say Perpignan, just somewhere in France. Same article suggest that Liverpool will get the gig again next season. I hope not because I'll be giving it a miss again and won't have the two London games as weekend away backup. No interest in going to Toronto btw. Anyone but Toronto for promotion please.

It's a great idea. The only issue would be when and where.
The when becomes an issue, as the whole point is that fans want to see all the games, which means being in situ for Saturday lunchtime and being able to leave late Sunday. So the "when" becomes a bank holiday.
As for the "where", the airport has to be able to cope with the influx of maybe thirty thousand fans, so common sense would say Barcelona, particularly as it is served by more than one airport.
If it has to be in France, Perpignan is probably out. There are places like Avignon, where internationals have been held before, and there are airports such as Nimes and Marseilles not too far away.
But it could be a great event, perhaps the best Magic ever,

I dont know how they would be fixed stadium wise but, Paris can certainly cope with numbers for flights/accommodation etc but, finding the right stadium may be a little more tricky. Stade de France would be great but, probably a little too big.
Having Magic over there would boost interest in RL in France and why not.
Manchester, for all that it's easy to get to and a decent ground etc has no "Magic", although it does serve a purpose. Paris would be expensive in terms of hotels etc but Barcelona, is cheap as chips to fly to and the Nou Camp does have a "draw" that other stadiums perhaps dont have.
Remembering that Catalan v Wigan attracted over 30,000 fans, which is almost equivalent to a day at the Etihad and if that could be improved upon for 2 days, it could be a winner.
If/when the ground redevelopment gets under way, that would be a great idea (subject to the financial side being ok for both Barnsley and Wakefield. In our group, there are 2 new S/T holders, plus another 4 lads that have come to games this season for the first time and they are all from Barnsley. I cant understand a word they say but, they seem to enjoy the game and bearing in mind that there isn't too much RL south of Wakefield (sorry Sheffield), it's an untapped market. I don't know the best way for the club to exploit it but, a couple of games down there with free entry to Barnsley FC season ticket holders seems like a good idea, which maybe the favour could be returned for Trinity ST holders watching Barnsley
We could be really naughty and offer Leeds United S/T holders free entry for a couple of games as well
How rude. Anyway, yes Oakwell would be good for me - 10 mins walk from my house, we could use the Mount Pub as our local too!! Dont recall any issues re the pitch following the two games..... Alternatively - and I hate to say this - I think dee-dar land (Sheffield) would be pretty good for magic.... Bramall Lane has a decent capacity, it would look full with 30,000 fans in it each day, is close to the city centre with the bars/restaurants/hotels and has good transport links.
If they are going to stage Magic weekend abroad then they need to be scheduling it now. Could be a brave move and really great event but no good announcing it at 6 months notice.
