I like Arundel, I think he is our most natural traditional Centre, his timing of a pass is better than the other options and his defense is very good. He is not as destructive a runner as Bill and not as elusive as Reece, that said I think he is our best option. Defense was our big problem last season so I hope we look to massively improve in this department. Unfair to judge Atkins on his London performance, he had been out for a long time and it was no wonder he was not at his best. Age is against him but fingers crossed he finds some form, then we have Croft. We also need to see how Tom Johnstone gets on, no point rushing him back, so it may well be that Bill plays on the wing for a while.
Would you put Arundel ahead of Tupou, Lyne and Atkins ? Assuming these 3 remain fit, I would see Arundel on the bench, playing 2nd row
I think if Lyne carry's on with his second half of season and nines form, Atkins gets his spot.If he comes back better conditioned and plays like we know he can, all to play for.For me Reece was one of the players, along with Arona, holding the team together when all the injuries kicked in, but he just seemed to burn himself out.

Hi Wakefieldtillidie-not sure who would be my player of the season, but Tanginoa made a very big impression on me for the latter part, and, like many other people have said, full praise to CC and MC for getting him here.

Eh? how did Arona hold the team together through all the injuries, when he was one of the main ones to be affected and didn't play a single game after 3rd May.
On Lyne, we'll no doubt get to see everyone in preseason and see where they are - not that I thought he stuck out at all in the 2nd half as being poor or tired.

He might mean up till the point where arona was injured? Must say I though prior to his injury Arona was exceptional
On Lyne I thought he did really well for us and at a time where the team was full of injuries he carried us
Just my opinion
The whole team struggled for form last year because there was so many forced changes, players missing due to injury and players playing with injuries
Tom, bill, Huby, Ashurst, Arona, Dave, England, Jacob, Brough You can’t have that many injured senior players and it not have a negative effect on your teams performance
I think we will be a different team next year and am really looking forward to seeing us play

I've said a few times the loss of Arona was what finally broke us in my opinion. We were coping OK even with the injuries we had up till that point then we lost Arona and it was downhill from there on.

He was that poor and tired that he managed to gain an international call up and is better than both of the GB "centres" that are down under at the moment.
